Enable Transparency in Windows 8 Without any Bug or Glitch

Before starting the tutorial, lets make a few things clear:
  • After following the method given in this tutorial, you'll get transparency in window borders similar to Windows Vista and Windows 7 but there will be no blur or reflection effects.
  • It'll require a small utility running in background so that you can get stable transparency in Windows 8 without glitches.
Now if you want to get transparency in Windows 8, here are the required steps:
1. First we'll need to enable the hidden, unstable and buggy transparency in Windows 8. You can follow the method given in the above mentioned link or you can take care of a freeware "Aero8Tuner" created by our friend hb860.
First download the tool using following link:

2. After downloading the software, run it and enable "Force High Contrast Mode (you will get the unusable transparency)" option. At last save the changes.

Now you'll get a broken transparency in Windows 8 which will be full of bugs. As soon as you move a window, it'll ruin the transparency effect.
3. Now its turn of making this unstable transparency stable. We'll take help of another freeware "bLend" created by our friend Lord Devrexster. Initially the software was created for Windows XP to provide transparency effect similar to Windows Vista and Windows 7 but surprisingly, it still works in Windows 8.
Download it using following link:

4. After downloading, run the software and select "Set all windows to be transparent" option. Move the transparency level slider to the end i.e. 254. Enable the checkbox "Start at system booting" and click on "Apply/Resume" button.

That's it. It'll immediately make the unstable transparency stable and permanent in Windows 8 as shown in following screenshot:

You can see in the above image the transparency is perfect without any glitch.

How to use Proxifier for Windows 8 MetroStyle apps

Intro

I’ve been using the Windows 8 for a few days now and the biggest problem I had was using the Proxifier for Windows 8 MetroStyle apps. If you have used Windows 8 and Proxifier, you’ll know that the minute you install Proxifier, none of your Metro apps can access the internet. (This goes for the apps I have personally developed).
I wanted to continue using Windows 8 but, on the other hand, I had to use Proxifier because I use so many rules in this program for different domains and a simple proxy for all the internet traffic wouldn’t solve my problem. So, without any further talk, let’s get to it.

How to make it work

1. Download and install Fiddler 2. This app is a web proxy which allows web developers to debug their apps.
2. On the “Tools” menu, click on “Win8 Loopback Exemptions”. It’ll take you to downloading an app. Download (direct link) install and run it.

3. When you run the downloaded app, you’ll see something like the picture below. Just click on “Excempt All” and then “Save Changes” buttons respectively and close it.

4. That’s it. You can click “Ctrl+M” in Fiddler2 to minimize it to system tray and never see it again. Also you can add it to your system’s startup. Just remember that in order to be able to work in your Metro apps, you should first run Fiddler. After that all your Proxifier rules will work for your Metro apps as well as your desktop ones.

Top 10 Simple Concepts To Learn in Life

Being likable person will help you out in this globalizing world – help you find your ideal job,  start your own business, find yourself a good relationships, and help you out in life. I have spoken to many successful leaders and have determined the Top 10 criteria likable and successful leaders have in common. All of the concepts are simple, yet many of us lose sight of the simple things – things that not only make us human, but can actually help us be more successful. Everyone can achieve greatness, but it takes strength and endurance to do it.

1. Listening

The ear of the leader must ring with the voices of the people.” – Woodrow Wilson

Listening is the foundation of any good relationship. Great leaders and outstanding businessmen listen to what their customers and prospects say and need and listen to the challenges their customers face. It’s ultimately the customer’s needs that need to be met. If a leader cannot understand or is not willing to listen, he will not succeed in his endeavors.
Customers are not the only ones important; colleagues’ input is as relevant. Being open to new ideas makes a leader more likable and successful -charismatic in other words. Any colleague who knows they can rely on their leader will be more willing to work and will be more open.
2. Storytelling

After listening, it is important for leaders to tell or retell great stories in order for them to sell their products, but more important, in order to market across their ideas. Storytelling is what captivates people and drives them to act, just like Mr. Peterman on Seinfeld. Whether you’re telling a story to one prospect over lunch, a boardroom full of people, or hundreds of people in a conference room - storytelling wins over your followers and customers.

3. Authenticity

Great leaders are who they say they are, and they have integrity beyond compare. Vulnerability and humility are hallmarks of the authentic leader and create a positive, attractive energy. Customers, employees, and media all want to help an authentic person to succeed. There used to be a divide between one’s public self and private self, but the social internet has blurred that line. Tomorrow’s leaders are transparent about who they are online, merging their personal and professional lives together.

4. Empowerment

The project leaders should think of the strategies as a learning process; with an understanding of what they can do best.  It is as important to invite others into the strategy process too. To empower people, the leader has to touch the positive side of people’s emotional energy. He/she should be clear about his/her goals but will also be willing to allow the development of other people around him. The idea is that a tremendous amount to energy will be released into the organization, which allows the leader to achieve more than intended. This process is called: human capital development.
5. Team  Work

No matter how small your business is, you interact with others every day. Letting others shine, encouraging others to bring in innovative ideas, practicing humility, and following other rules for working in teams will help you become a better and more likeable leader – charisma all the way. You will need to set culture of success within your organization, one that includes out-of-the-box thinking, especially amongst your employees.

6. Honesty

“When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You know that your name is safe in their mouth.” – Jess C. Scott
Whatever ethical plane you hold yourself to, when you are responsible for a team of people, it’s imperative that you raise the bar even higher. Your business and its employees are a reflection of you and your role model skills, and if you make honest and ethical behavior a key value, your team will honorably follow suit.
7. Adaptability
“When you’re finished changing, you’re finished.” -Ben Franklin
There has never been a faster-changing marketplace than the one we live in today. Leaders must be flexible in managing changing opportunities and challenges and nimble enough to pivot at the right moment. Stubbornness is no longer desirable to most organizations. Instead, humility and the willingness to adapt mark a great leader.
8. Confidence:

There may be days  where your brand is worrisome and things are not exactly going as planed. This is true with any business, large or small, and the most important thing is not to panic. Part of your job as a leader is to put out fires and attain and maintain the team morale. Keep up your confidence level, and assure everyone that setbacks are a natural part of life and the important thing is to focus on the larger goal: success. As the leader, by staying calm and confident, you will help keep the team feeling the same.
9. Charisma

“A true leader always keeps an element of surprise up his sleeve, which others cannot grasp but which keeps his public excited and breathless.” -Charles de Gaulle
You have some influence on your employees. In other words, you have to find an indeterminacy between Donald Trump and Steve Jobs. You need to be blunt, at times, like Trump, but you need to be at the same time likable as Steve Jobs was. It’s hard, but it can be easily done.
10. Ignite Passion

Passionate leaders spread passion to others through their love of life, doing new things, taking risks, being motivated, having a sense of urgency, and reinventing self. Passionate people are optimistic, have a great story to tell  and involve others in their decision making, and have a simple, recharge strategy that anyone can follow.
If you have any other simple skills you feel a leader should have, be sure to post it on our comments section and we’ll happily consider your ideas. We are a blog written for the fans by the fans.

Under the hood it was based on the early racing models of the fifties being the first production car that used direct fuel injection. Top 5 Failed Fast Food Ideas

5. Burger King table service

In an attempt to draw more customers, Burger King did two things that almost led it to bankruptcy in the 1990s: They introduced an MTV style ad campaign and they made their restaurants sit down style after a certain hour. This new classy set up simply didn’t appeal to the majority of its customers who just wanted a quick meal.
In trying to class up Burger King by putting table cloths on the plastic tables, introducing waiters, and offering popcorn as an appetizer, Burger King scared a lot of people away. Despite being initially popular with some singles, it was discontinued in 1993. Burger King needs to learn from their failed fast food ideas – copying the competition doesn’t work!

4. Hula Burger

Ray Kroc, the founder of McDonald’s, had a problem in the early 1960s. Many of his restaurants were struggling on Fridays due to Catholic fasting rules. The Solution? Introduce a burger with pineapple substituting meat.
Many people did not find this appetizing, especially when the Church had popular Friday fish fries at the time. When a Cincinnati McDonald’s owner claimed that his burger, with fish in it, was better, it was on. Nationwide, more and more McDonald’s began introducing the Fish Filet, with most people switching over from the pineapple. The Hula burger was dropped less than a year later.

 3. Arch Deluxe

In 1996, in an attempt to target older Americans who avoided McDonald’s due to its child-friendly policy, McDonald’s tried to create products that would appeal to older adults. In a 300 million dollar marketing campaign, they introduced Deluxe menu items, including the Arch Deluxe, along with the oddly frightening masco Mac Tonight.
When studies came in showing that the whole line was tanking, McDonald’s introduced a creepy ad campaign which included a coupon for a free Arch Deluxe over a child’s mouth and commercials of Ronald McDonald dancing at a night club. This did little to win over any demographic, and by 1997, the Deluxe line was out.

2. Wendy’s Superbar

Beginning in 1988, Wendy’s introduced not one, not two, but three different buffet bars in all its restaurants. With Salad, Italian, and Mexican offerings, Wendy’s tried to attract a new demographic. And, to everyone’s amazement, the idea actually worked, with people flocking to take advantage of it.
After its early popularity, however, problems arose. Having three distinct food selections near one another does not bode well for appetites. Furthermore, the staff had to put a lot in a lot of extra effort managing the buffets which led to dramatically increased waiting times for customers. By 1998, the superbar was gone.

1. Bell Beefer

From the 1970s to the 1980s, Taco Bell offered the Bell Beefer—think taco meat inside a hamburger bun. The Bell Beefer was actually well received despite its appearance. That is until health officials took one look at the thing and found low health value in it—even by Taco Bell standards. Also, the sandwich had a hard time staying together due to the ingredients. Needless to say, that lead to a number of complaints. With the problems piling up, Taco Bell got rid of it.
